1.
Enrollment
As
a student of CCBIT you will be required to follow CCBIT requirement requirements
regarding enrollment.
1.1
Enrollment with Karachi University students would also be enrolled at Karachi
University. Students are not allowed to enroll in two degree programs concurrently.

Fees
2.1
Examination Fees
In
addition to the enrollment fees, the university of karachi shall also charge
an examination fee of Rs.1,000/ per student per semester.
2.2
Refund of Course Fees
Fees
paid are not refunded where a student withdraws from a subject or cancels
enrollment. All fees CCBIT and University of Karachi are non-refundable.
3.
Attendance
Students
should aim to attend all classes. The lectures help meet the educational
of the subjective of the subjects by providing information regarding applications,
clarifying important ideas, and guiding reading. Many classes will include
opportunities to discuss and clarify issues. Classes may include practical
exercises and case studies. Absence from classes will in most cases seriously
limit a student's ability to do well. In cases where a student is seeking
special consideration or having progress reviewed, a good record of class
attendance may be helpful in showing evidence of commitment to the
program.
There
is a minimum attendance requirement of 85% in each to qualify for admission
into next semester. Latecomers will be marked absent. Regular attendance
is therefore encouraged for these reasons.
4.
Assessment
In
education of Business Administration, the examination system is a continuous
process and includes:
Quizzes
(unannounced surprise short tests of 5 to 10 minutes each)
Three
term Examinations, Assignments, Reports, Class Participation and Practical
Exercises
One
Semester Examination of three hours (to be conducted by the university
of karachi)
Assignments,
essays, projects, field-work or other forms of assessment appropriate to
the objectives of the subject.
The
assessment requirements may include a variety of assessment such as the
following written examinations.
The
Assessment details for each subject are included in the documentation provided
at the commencement of each semester for each subject. It is important
that students read such information carefully and are clear about the requirement
to pass each subject. Not having un dressed the will not be accepted as
a reason for reviewing final results.
There
shall be no Supplementary Examinations
Assessment
in most subjects is continuous. This means that you to meet a number of
assessments over the semester-case studies, lecturers require, for example,
that you submit and/or all particular requirement as well as obtaining
50% overall. It is therefore critically important that you and understand
these requirements. The following distribution of weight shall be adhered
to strictly by CCBIT academic staff:

student is required to minimum CGPA of 2.45
In
some cases, depending on overall record, a student with a GPA of 2 may
be allowed to make up the deficiency, and improve his GPA as a probationary
student. However, in such cases, it will take more then three years to
complete the BBA (Hons) program.
6.
Examinations
Examination
papers or other written submissions illegible to the examiner will be assessed
at the examiner's discretion. Rewriting opportunities will not normally
be available. Where re-submission opportunities are provided by the lecturer
responsible for the subject, a fee will be set by CCBIT to cover additional
administrative and academic work |
